I’m in Vegas for work and some kind of international Arbonne conference has invaded my hotel. I’ve never seen anything like it. Not to be hyperbolic but this is my personal Vietnam.

I imagine that’s bad. Try being the only person in a hotel that isn’t there for a dance contest. 250 twelve year olds, which is manageable, it’s their psycho moms that take it over the top. Did I mention this was in Little Rock? So now you know the class level I was dealing with.

Still - feel your pain, but maybe you can finally do something about your blotchy skin. :p

Its your lucky week. They are also having the Electronic Music Festival. I was there about five years ago for this week I think I was the only person over 30 in my hotel (the Linq). Mandatory dress code is multi color hair, ten piercings and at least ten tattoos. For females no more then two square feet of clothing. Every morning when I was going to breakfast they were stumbling in from the night before.

I’m 36 and still feel young. Nothing makes me feel older than the Electronic Music Festival. Two feet of clothing might be generous by a foot.

I’m in Vegas the same time every year for the music festival. The crazy thing is the guys are starting to wear less than the woman.

My niece got married in Vegas.

In June.

In Vegas. In June. When the temperature is like 120. We all stayed in the Luxor, which is a black pyramid structure sloped toward the sun in order to catch maximum amount of solar radiation. Air conditioner unable to keep up. Literally 90 degrees in the room during the day.

That was around 15 years ago. Haven’t been back since.
