Unemployment for striking workers - California 18 billion in debt. How you ask?

Maybe the unions should spend less on politicians and create their own unemployment fund for striking workers. Unfortunately, that would require a union to be something more than a PAC for Democrats.
Illegals are fortunate sleepy and mayorkas are they're union president.

I worked for a trucking company yrs ago. Had to join the teamsters union to get the job. Like myself and many others that worked on the dock were considered part timers although we worked 40 hrs a week and paid union dues. 7 months after I started the union went on strike because the company wanted to ship more freight by rail and the union was against it. During the strike reg workers got strike benefits but us so called part timers did not even though we paid union dues and were in the union they refused to give us strike benefits. After a week or so we persuaded them that we deserved them just as much as the Reg Workers and they gave us the Strike Benefits.
I was told when I applied there that I didn't have to join the Union but if I didn't I wouldn't be hired so I joined and got the job.
Personally I would never join another Union again.

Unions are great!
