I just wanted to point out those who are blaming everything on Holder (and he definitely shares some blame but not all) that if you compare Ford and Underwoods first season, who comes out on top?? Ford was actually pretty convincingly better than Underwood, with comparable talent IMO. Won 3 more game total, beat OU w Griffin in the Big 12 tourney, and won a game in the NCAAs. Underwood preyed on the weak of the Big 12, went 1-8 vs top 4, lost both opening games in Big 12 and NCAA. Holder is just supposed to open the checkbook right away?? So you say league average is fair. Look at the league coaches! We have ridiculous coaches in this league who have achieved far, far more than him. Holder should have given him a raise but yes he is obviously gun shy after Travis, who again had a better first year.
