One thing I always liked about MTG is she ain’t no sheep. I wanted Trump to make her his Attorney General. If he would have made her AG I probably wouldn’t troll you MAGA’s nearly as harshly.
It is funny. Unfortunately on some subconscious level Trump probably thinks he should be Pope. After all he is the man that said he rules the world.

When I went to the gym this afternoon CNN was on one screen and it was hilarious. They simply cannot help taking Trump’s bait.
He’s playing them like a Stradivarius and it’s reached the point that they seem to realize it and just don’t care.
I think you are making a minor error in judgement. You see them as being played like a violin, but what you don't see is millions of people being offended by what he did (and does regularly). There's a good reason why he didn't get half the vote, and it is showing in his dismal approval rating. While his antics tickle you, they cause half the population to dislike him even more. All his antics do is drive the wedge between sides even further. Politics has become as juvenile as cliques in junior high.
You don't need to say it, and yet you do. Of all the candidates for trolling on this board you are far and away my favorite.
When looking at approval for politicians, always take note of sample data. The MSM can always get approval numbers they desire. I see some approval polling today doesn't even publish sample data. Used to be polling ALWAYS came with sample data.
Trump displaced Sarah Palin as the most attacked by MSM politician ever. When the Palin announcement came for vice president, Palin enjoyed 80% approval as Alaska gov.
