To clarify I will vote for him as always in the general but never have in a primary. His stunt, rambling speach going after a popluar governor was amateur hour in a state he has to win. Anyone else running and this is over but we are stuck. Sad.

I lived there from ‘93-‘22 the whole time in the city of Atlanta and Fulton County. You can’t believe how poorly run and corrupt that county is. I voted for Kemp the first time but he is a sellout. He is a pure politician…..it’s all about power and doing anything to maintain that power…..people be damned.

Kemp has done tremendous things here in spite of the obstacles from Atlanta coming his way. He’s provided tax relief two years in a row due to surplus. Actual checks back to tax payers. Meaningful money, not a few dollars . No “politician” does that.
He removed Oil / gas taxes at the pump on three separate occasions to help those who need it most, working people when gas prices rose too high.
He opened the GA economy either first or near first during Covid. He challenged the science and the damage it was doing to small business owners.
He continues to get companies and industries to move more jobs to GA.
He’s done such a good job the 1.4% narrow win over Abram’s in ‘18, widened to 8% in ‘22 for the rematch.

I know of virtually all that! I’ve experienced some of it. Yes he’s done pretty well in a state that brought in nearly 4 million people in the 30 years I was there…..under many governors. There is so much money pouring into Georgia and has been for a long time. Georgia is a great state to live in….nearly perfect in my mind.

It is still August, we are still three months out from the election, and most Americans aren't going to start really paying attention until after Labor Day, some probably not till October. A lot can still happen.
With they said, it is looking much better for Harris right now. She also still has a number of future opportunities to improve her standing with the American voter. And if Trump keeps campaigning the way he has the past two weeks, he is in trouble. Yes, that Georgia rally was a disaster for him. He isn't going to win with the current message him and weirdo have going against Harris and anyone else who isn't "loyal" to Donald Trump.

Inflation has raised the price of everything 20% or more, tens of millions of illegals have crossed the border and are sucking our social services dry, Crime is so bad in some cities people no longer feel safe. We have two wars going on, one potential war in Taiwan and one of those wars has the real possibility of WWIII breaking out. Not to mention the economy is teetering on collapse. I seem to remember leftist being against all of this before they took power of government.
The problem with this post is that none of it is true or doesn't give the complete picture. It is nothing but a repeat of Trump talking points. A quick response to each one:
(1) Yes, inflation has been a problem but it was always going to be a problem coming out of a pandemic. Still, inflation has greatly decreased since 2022 and it is projected to continue to decrease.
(2) Millons of individuals were crossing the border under Trump. Fact. The Biden/Harris administration has returned more unauthorized immigrants than Trump ever did as President. Fact. The Biden/Harris administration has deported more individuals in the past year than any year when Trump was President. Fact. The Biden/Harris administration actually had a bipartisan immigration reform bill in place till Trump killed it for political reasons. Fact.
(3) Crime is not as bad as you make it out to be Actually, crime rates are improving.
(4) We are not involved in any wars. We are not at war with anyone. We are supporting Ukraine, who is facing an invasion from Russia. And we are dealing with the Israel/Palestine problem that we have dealt with for centuries. The Biden/Harris administration actually ended a 20 year war that we were actually involved in. A war that Trump promised to end but didn't.
(5) There is no WWIII about to start and our economy is not about to collapse. Is this what you want though Bearcat? It almost sounds like you do.
You are being misled Bearcat and that is why you are struggling to understand why so many Americans are moving towards Harris. Not all Americans drink the Trump kool-aid as you do. They can look around and see what is really happening. They can think for themselves and not believe everything Trump says. My point in starting this was Trump blew it in GA the other night. Can't do that in a toss up state and the governor is far more popular than Trump and will likely be a US senator in short term. Trump has made a mess of GA and doubles down. I will vote for him but it would be over if it was anyone but him. Love his heart and spirit but the other crap doesn't play well with most on the fence regardless of tough circumstances. If Harris wins, it will be because of the anti Trump vote which is substantial. Sure as hell won't be for her. He has his base but needs to quit getting personal with people he needs.
