Holy hell. The Russians have hacked NFL players and are making them take a knee during the National Anthem? Or are they doing evil mastermind stuff to make it look like people aren't viewing taking a knee in the favorable light the left wants?
I don't doubt that those players feel what they are doing are right. But there are plenty of folks that are punching out of watching and attending because they aren't interested in the political views of the players. The NFL watching demographic isn't primarily hard left social justice types. Trying to blame the fallout on anything but the actions of the players (Russia, racists, Trump) is really just whistling past the graveyard.
Then what exactly is the flavor of that tweet you posted? Something about the Russians. What are they hacking now? I'm trying to stay up to speed on the Russian interference in all things American.
Obama said plenty of dumb shit, but Trump's daily twits win by a wide margin, with only 9 months on the job.
What else do Russians do besides hack? Serious question. I don't keep up with all of the Russia stuff.
My respect for him jumped on Sunday...it's fallen today.
My problem is he was likely taken to the woodshed by the owners, coaches or teammates and then had to issue his mea culpa. It's no different in my mind than those who say something via twitter or email or some other venue and then come back and say "I didn't really mean that...". No, you did mean that because you said it.
That would be interesting. If NFL ratings were truly getting better. But facts are ratings for NFL games are down. And down sharply.
