If Trump is smart he will throw the debate. That will be enough to convince Bernie he needs to run as an independent. That, in turn, will be enough to guarantee Trump will be President.

All he has to do is attack Hillary and her agenda the entire debate. Bernie either has to agree with him or agree with Hillary.

With Bernie's surge in popularity and Cankles surge in unpopularity, a Bernie/Trump debate is going to swing Bernie voters to Trump simply because Trump publicly says Bernie is being screwed.

If it's Fox that puts on the debate, both will grind on the fact that Cankles had pledged super delegates before anybody else entered the race and is nothing but the same old establishment retread. Cankles duck and run maneuver looks absolutely terrible in light of the just released IG report. I'm loving this shit show.

Do any of you see risk for Trump in this? Bernie is a much more formidable challenger than Hillary, at least in current polling.


On the other hand, a pretty substantial number of Bernie voters are sounding open to voting for Trump against Hillary. And everything has risk.


Trump is proving to be the ultimate chessmaster though --- the only other current figure that is similar in that regard, is Putin. (IE being three steps ahead of everyone else)
