For the Comey defenders.
If this were Republicans going after a Democrat I would be equally appalled. My angst is bout people subversively attacking our Republic and Democratic process, not about Donald Trump, who I don't give a rats ass about.
1. Comey and the FBI FULLY vetted the dossier and determined that it was false. This was done FIRST before any other actions.
2. Even after that, Comey offered $50,000 to Steele to come up with proof that the accusations in the dossier were real. They did, in fact pay Steele's expenses, but before the $50k was paid they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar and cancelled the payment. This is all admitted and open now.
3. Knowing it was false AND knowing it was a smear piece paid for by Hillary, they used it to get FISA approval to do surveillance on Republicans (only). Worse, they intentionally did NOT tell the FISA court that they had vetted it and determined that it was false and they did NOT tell the FISA court that it was a smear piece paid for by the political opposition. The FISA court would NEVER have approved the surveillance had those two gems of facts been disclosed.
4. In the book Rogue Spooks ( a book both sides of the aisle should read), Dick Morris gives ample evidence of Comey's complicit involvement in the release (leak) of the dossier to the press. For example, we now know that the actual release was done by Democrats on the House Intel committee....and we know that Comey gave the dossier to the Democrats on the House Intel committee. As Morris outlines in the book, there was ample evidence that Comey intentionally gave the dossier to them knowing it was the quickest way to get it public. you might say I'm making a stretch that Comey used those dudes to do his bidding and I have no proof, but as Morris says in the book "It has been known for decades that if you want something leaked give it to a congressional committee. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, if Comey knew his FBI peeps vetted the dossier and he KNEW it was false, why in the world would he take it to congress knowing it would be released? NOBODY (I challenge you) can answer that one with a straight face and defend Comey.

It is WIDELY known that Snopes is a bed of far left liberalism. They deny it in public until specifically cornered, and then they plead the 5th, even admitting that some of their fact checkers are, in fact, left biased. BTW, I didn't read the scopes you posted because they simply can't be trusted.
