Trump is going about this wrong IMO. He should tell the Palestinian people they have until January 20th to force Hamas to turn over the hostages and surrender or they will be considered the same as Hamas. On January 21st send a couple of B52s over to drop a couple of bomb loads. Send another message telling the Palestinians they have 48 hours or we will send a whole squadron of B52s to level all of Gaza. Time to put this to an end once and for all.
