Trump in big trouble (RE: November election)

Wait, weren't some of those Hillary polls after the debates?

You’re comparing Hillary to Biden as far a debating??? Tell me, David. Just how did Hillary manage to lose an election that she was set up for a landslide victory?

Hang on, lets get resolution on the prior point first then we can head down one of these other paths.

When do polls matter in your opinion? What in your opinion was the source of the inaccuracy of polls in the last presidential election?

The left has brilliantly played the strategy of killing the economy. For that, tip of the cap...
Without being in power tyou say the left is responsible for closing the economy that means the present regime in effective.
Look at europe and their curve on covid19and look at the US hich is still going up and the as you say the baddest guy has not been able to do nothing.
More over there is no really left in the US usually it is right of center or left of center.
Trump has no positions on either side, according to Bolton has no strategy and doesnt know what to do. He has no foreign policy neither does he have a domestic policy.
But you guys are right about the polls one cannot take any thing for granted.

Two things that I would encourage you to consider:

  1. Trump likely doesn't believe what you posted. He has been such a victim this whole time he may well have genuinely be convinced that he is the most persecuted POTUS in all of American history.
  2. Those around him at some point smell the blood in the water. The real question is does Pence have the courage to attempt a kill shot - to offer a full pardon in exchange for a summer resignation giving him sufficient time to mount a campaign.
This is one of my 1 in 100 theories, but it is kinda fun to think about.

whatever has made you succeed in google works does not apply to politics

I’m shocked that a liberal Pakistani doesn’t understand how the US form of government works.

Win or lose, Trump's chances of any kind of real legal issues are the same as Hillary's and the same as hers ever were. None of those politicians are ever going to seriously get after one another because they don't want anyone getting after them. It's the same reason all of the turds in Hollywood cover each other's deviant behaviors while telling the rest of us how we need to live.

The one thing I can't get past, and I understand it's a massive generalization, is enthusiasm. When was the last time the candidate that had a more enthusiastic base lost? Trump's base loves him, Biden doesn't even have a base. His base is based on a dislike for Trump. People who hate Trump hate him more than I've seen people hate another politician so maybe that's enough.
Trump’s base is collapsing from 93 percent support to 83 just in last week.

I did not bother to read this thread after the first couple of responses, so this may have been said already, but Biden’s so-called poll lead will collapse like a house of cards in a hurricane once he emerges from sequestration in his basement and hits the campaign trail. I understand that half the population doesn’t like Trump, particularly his divisive style. I don’t like it either, and have said before I wish he were not president. But out of sheer self preservation as a society and country Biden should be rejected. Trump may be a complete ass, but anyone with a scintilla of common sense can see Biden is not mentally fit for the office.

Joe wins as long as there are no debates and he can stay hidden.

The reality of these two candidates is this, the election is like wanting to eat good pizza, maybe a Lou Malnati's or a Lombardi's. However the only options I'm given are Pizza Hut and Domino's. So I'm going to get a pizza but either way they are both going to be bland and taste like cardboard. I'm tired of having to choose between two bad options.

Biden might win in a landslide but personally I don't put much stock into polls anymore. Way to many of them and I've been on too many that ask questions in a very misleading fashion.

I'm not the one who didn't know that putting your fingers in a woman's vagina without her consent is rape...

You set that up too perfectly...

Seriously, which hoaxes did you not fall for? We're at zero currently.
Seriously, I'll take none for $200 Medic.

I will adopt the Shipman Method of deflecting ownership of any statement that turns our to be wrong - claiming I was just being sarcastic or provoking conversation. I think I can dance my way around the one or two problematic posts you might be able to find (hoping Oath doesn't restore search....)

Which is a strong incentive for Biden to stay in sequestration.

Dan, there is only one mentally fit choice

Is that supposed to be Tulsi? That’s not Tulsi! But she does have a nice set of teeth, and the pearls are a nice touch.

The Dallas Pastor told Lou Dobbs of Fox Business he predicts evangelicals will turn out in record numbers for Trump since Joe has embraced church torching anarchists.

Who will the new 1.2 million NRA members vote for? Joe and gun czar Bozo O-Rourke? I think not.

I read every word in the newest NYT/Siena battleground states poll. Confusing demographics. Clear as a bell? They made it clear the white guys could flock back to Trump on election day.

Michael Moore asks how many will camp out on a sidewalk for 5 days to listen to Biden? 5? 2? Legions will do so for Trump.

Don't forget the rage in October of 2018 when democrats blundered by ganging up on poor Kavanaugh. I remember the head shaking at how bad the demodcrats were gonna pay at the ballot box. Whew, they'll never learn. I remember how enraged the country was at the senate democrats for unfairly attacking him.

The house flipped in early November.

A reminder: The U. S. average IQ is a paltry 98.

For voting the mean IQ doesn't matter. The median is what's important

On the old OOB, I once asked 3 Mensa questions directed at no one. I would never direct such questions at anyone unless invited. Inexplicably, soonerinlOUisiana volunteered and answered all three correctly.

Will enough SiL types and well short of SiL types show up Nov. 3 to insure enough wins for Trump or will the AOC types carry the day for "120 million virus deaths" Joe?

The median is indeed what's important.

I hope this is like a macro or something... otherwise I am concerned about the wear and tear on your metacarpophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal joints from typing the same old drivel over and over again.

You're worried about his hand and finger joints? Why? Repetitive typing isn't a high impact activity. If you're thinking carpal tunnel, that involves the flexor tendons and the median nerve.
