Matthew 25:31-46 King James Version (KJV)
Judgment Day
The Sheep and the Goats

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

@CowboyUp I want to thank you for the dose of reality. This whole thing is just another chapter in the cruelty, deception and incompetence of this administration. They actually thought -- really, truly, thought -- the country was like the MAGA apes and would just ho-hum their stupidity and cruelty. Glad you're back.

And I in turn would like to thank you for supporting the performance art of @CowboyUp.

If this was the 1920’s cup would be institutionalized and sterilized for acting like a chicken with half his head cut off.

One wonders, did he actually think it would look good politically? And if did look good to enough Americans, does that justify it in his mind?

I am not suprised at all that Trump had to back down. Anyone who had followed congressional hearings regarding what the Trump administration was planning on doing knew he was going to have to back down.

What is surprising is how he thought this could work for him politically and how that apparently justified the policy in his mind. Makes me wonder if he has any moral compass at all.

Two things: The left talking about moral compass, and giving the guy from 2008 to 2016 a moral pass.

This is about Trump and his policy. It isn't about Democrats, Obama, Clinton, Merkel, North Korea, or whatever other type of deflection diehard Trump supporters feel they must employ because they recognize the indefensible nature of Trump's policy.

It’s always been the policy. It just wasn’t publicized until the media wanted to pin it solely on Trump. Thank God for Donald J Trump getting rid of it.

No, this was Trump's policy. Hence why Trump could end it or change it with his executive order.

Thank God for Trump getting rid of his own policy? It never ceases to amaze me what some will believe or allow themselves to be convinced of.

Whatever, you’re in denial. It’s just another strike out by the left to try and assassinate his character. I wonder what the next thing will be?

These, for example?

Well these are political "forecasts." Which both sides do (see below). But yes, if one actually believed that Trump had essentially no chance of winning back in 2016, then one was being foolish.

I am not in denial about anything TPoke. And this was a self-inflicted political wound by Trump. He made a bad decision, both morally and politically.

Dems used their midterm October Surprise early.

Momentum was getting too far out in front of them.

This will fizzle, because the majority of folks recognize it for what it is.

Premature political ejaculation by the dems.

I don't really know what you mean about momentum, that sounds like a wishful thinking on your part at this point.

And again, this was Trump's doing. He and his administration embraced this policy. They had been talking about it in congressional hearings. This was despicable to most Americans and a major blunder on the part of Trump.

As to what impact it will have on the midterms. Hard to tell at this point. We will have to see what kind of staying power it has (and something like this can have staying power). It definately isn't going to help Republicans chances, hence the pressure Trump was feeling from many Republicans.

Don't look now, but a long lived monthly Gallup opinion poll seems to indicate a decent level of satisfaction in the direction of the country now compared to the Zero years. Some article referencing it said something about a recent record...

Then Presidents before him did, also. God bless Donald J Trump for ending this policy.

You should be praising him for ending it!

You always circle back to the same framing words.

You think you can speak reality into existence? Hillary and her people did.

With greater levels of good paying jobs, better racial relations and understanding, and a President not always throwing us (U.S.) under the bus, good things are afoot.
