Not intended to be as creepy as the first season (other than the occult symbols carved into the chest of the first body).
I think it will be every bit as entertaining as last year, but maybe not if we get too caught up in comparing the two. We will do ourselves and the show a disservice if we expect the poop to hit the fan in episode 4, for example.
Nothing wrong with season 2 being delicious for its own reasons. I'm going to sit back and enjoy the ride.
