I remember reading the old Big 8 skywriters tour and getting aggravated at what Tom Osborne use to say about us in the 80’s.
Tom use to always say that OSU had as good of first string players as anyone in the country but suffered from depth with quality back-ups.
Use to say it every year.
He was right and if he were around today, I think he would still say it.
I think we are really suffering from quality recruiting in the non skill positions, same stuff that haunted us in the 80’s.
We have 22 Olineman and have a hard time finding 8 quality guys.
Use to be an issue on D line, we need to fix the Oline the way we did the D line.
