A couple of years ago I backed off getting excited about recruiting knowing it wasn't doing me any good. Well, now at 75+ I find it is time to back off the excitement and hype at the start of the year and during the year for the team. It just doesn't do me any good. Anybody who knows me will tell you that I have been one of the loudest supporters of the Cowboys, including starting cheers back in the late 60's in the stands. I also started the Kansas City Alumni Watch Party Chapter in 1999, which is still going strong. To give you an idea of my excitement, last year, I fell backward in a chair and cracked my head open, and ended up with 5 staples. The bottom line is I will continue to support my Cowboys, but I will no longer get overly excited or follow the hype train. Go Pokes. KCPOKE!
