This Week in History—JFK Surrenders to Khrushchev During Cuban Missile Crisis

Interesting read & falls in line with JFK leaving the Cuban exiles to be slaughtered a during the Bay of Pigs invasion. Is very illuminating as to how the media, almost single-handedly, can prop up their tribal members for decades (maybe forever).
What a great find and a surprisingly truthful account of the Cuban Missile Crisis. I'm not saying I agree with every claim made in the article, but the main argument that JFK got played by the Soviet Union is spot on.

This definitely does not align with the myth that JFK apologists have pushed ever since 1962. @Ponca Dan, you definitely need to read this article.

"We ended up getting exactly what we'd wanted all along . . . security for Fidel Castro’s regime and American missiles removed from Turkey and Italy. Until today the U.S. has complied with her promise not to interfere with Castro and not to allow anyone else to interfere with Castro. After Kennedy's death, his successor Lyndon Johnson assured us that he would keep the promise not to invade Cuba." - Nikita Khrushchev
