HighStickHarry <reading Ian Bremmer's Time article titled "Modi is India's Best Hope for Economic Reform">: This guy could never do a bad tweet
Ian Bremmer <does bad tweet>
HighStickHarry <disappointed> : Now who can I trust????
Pretty proud of this guy aren’t we?
Today I learned that "people who went to college should be able to distinguish facts from opinion" is actually controversial.
brad doesn't care about coherence or making sense.
That is all it is.
Or word salad. It could be word salad.
Gotta give credit to my teachersNo you didn't. You didn't learn anything at all.
Today I learned that "people who went to college should be able to distinguish facts from opinion" is actually controversial.
Just explain it. Which class gives you that bump? Is it the collective experience?
What did you get in college that isn’t offered in a trade school? Or someone with a high eq that dropped out of high school?
The list of insane people who can’t distinguish reality from fantasy is higher with those with high iq’s. What you are saying is presumptuous and smug.
A college degree makes you educated. That’s not EQ.
You may be surprised to learn that the difference between a college grad and a random person is not just the classes they took or even anything that happened to them during college.Just explain it. Which class gives you that bump? Is it the collective experience?

Look at yourself brad. This is what the dilbert guy has turned you into. I'll give Peterson credit because he apparently helped you get married, but the dilbert guy has turned your brain into mush. You're totally shocked. I can tell.
Pilt, this is shocking.
tALkiNG aT yOUYou may be surprised to learn that the difference between a college grad and a random person is not just the classes they took or even anything that happened to them during college.
But talking to you has convinced me that I have been giving college grads far too much credit.

Graduating college requires a level of intelligence and other traits like conscientiousness. Someone who has graduated college has a minimum that level of intelligence and those traits. Random people may have it as well, but it isn't a sure thing like it is for college graduates. Please go on. I’ve asked three times. What is this factor you are keeping secret that sets you apart from “random people?”
I recognize a lying playa when I see one, pilt
It's just your character. I don't judge.

Yeah man, the bar is really low on the question of fact/opinion. I know 4th graders who get it.So we’ve ruled out 80 iq’s and below?
Clinton scott is one of the least conscientious posters on this board. His iq is through the roof though. Where do you think he would be without his degree in his understanding of reality?
Cnn and Fox News hosts all have degrees. Multiple degrees. One of those groups has a much lower ability to distinguish opinion from fact.
You are also lumping in NOC university studies degrees with Harvard phd’s in your generalization. Think about that.
Yeah man, the bar is really low on the question of fact/opinion. I know 4th graders who get it.
Doubtful.
But in the surprising event that you have a functional life outside of this forum, what would a 4th grader say a statement in quotation marks means?
brad you caught me, I actually live inside a computer and have no corporeal form.Doubtful.

I actually live in clinton's parent's parent's basementI didn't say that. I said
coolSo do I. That’s the point. Your degree is an accomplishment, but gives you no advantage in this arena.
In my opinion.
https://www.foxnews.com/us/judge-di...ith-native-american-at-lincoln-memorial-rallyOne of the reasons journalism died years ago. Tweets are the sources for many lazy "journalists" who sit in their offices and compose but never go investigate. It's why the Covington Kid is going to be a wealthy person. Unfortunate that too many stories appearing in the press and disseminated far and wide originate in the minds of highly partisan people masquerading as journalists or "expert contributors". They're called faux news and have been on display in abundance since 2016.
I agree with the sentiment in the first sentence. Keep the commies out of office at all costs. My politics pretty much starts at that point. Their world view is at cross purposes with the United States as founded. Bozo the clown at the helm is preferable to any of these power hungry totalitarians. My first responsibility is to keep the dem candidate out of office. Thus far, no libertarian has shown me they have a snowballs chance of winning. Libertarians need to start at the bottom and build their brand from the ground up rather than starting at the top. That means win sufficient local and state elections to become a viable alternative to the two national parties. It's the same problem the Green Party has.
