The US Military as an organization must remain politically neutral, we serve the Constitution, and the country, not an Individual. Hitler changed the Wehrmacht oath making members swear allegiance to him instead of Germany

For the record, I agree that the US Military shouldn't be flying any flag representing an individual but rather only the US (or state flags as appropriate). However, if you're getting butthurt over this, and escalating it to Hitleresque levels, then I seriously pity you. For I always assumed you had more capacity for personal thought and context. I do know plenty of people who are active and retired and every single one of them have broken rules while in the military. The same uncle I referenced who served in Germany during Vietnam stole an mp jeep during his last week got into a chase and was late getting out because he spent two weeks locked up. World did not end.

“The convoy were service members assigned to an East Coast-based Naval Special Warfare unit driving vehicles while transiting between two training locations,” Lieutenant Jacqui Maxwell told ABC News. He added that a command inquiry would be conducted about the flag, since “Defense Department and Navy regulations prescribe flags and pennants that may be displayed as well as the manner of display. The flag shown in the video was unauthorized.”
