After watching and reading some conference previews, I've come to the conclusion that there are a few big assumptions being made by most everyone.
1. TCU is just going to "figure" thing out defensively when they only return 4 starters.
2. Baylor QB is simply plug in play.
3. OU running backs were the entire reason for their own success. The senior laden and NFL sized guys they had last year and who are not returning had little impact on their running success.
4. OSU can't improve "enough" to win the conference, they'll just be a spoiler.
None of this is totally unfair but I don't think the light is really being shIned on alot of these.
