Is so incredibly amateurish. First, you've got his staffers obviously copying a substantial portion of a speech previously delivered by Michele Obama. Then, in the middle of this speech, by Pat Smith:

"For all of this loss, for all of this grief, for all of the cynicism the tragedy in Benghazi has wrought upon America, I blame Hillary Clinton. I blame Hillary Clinton personally for the death of my son. In an email to her daughter shortly after the attack, Hillary Clinton blamed it on terrorism. But when I saw Hillary Clinton at Sean’s coffin ceremony, just days later, she looked me squarely in the eye and told me a video was responsible. Since then, I have repeatedly asked Hillary Clinton to explain to me the real reason why my son is dead. I’m still waiting."

Trump's incompetent campaign allowed allowed Trump to phone in to Bill O’Reilly’s show while Smith was on stage giving her speech.

And yet, despite the fact that Hillary's campaign spending has dwarfed Trump's, having already spent over $100MM, and despite the fact that his campaign organization and GOTV strategy are woefully weak, here is the current RCP Polling average: Clinton +2.7%. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...s/general_election_trump_vs_clinton-5491.html

It is the most bizarre Presidential campaign imaginable. A huge plurality, if not a majority, of each major political party can't stand IT'S OWN candidate, and yet, the outright hatred and nastiness towards the OTHER party's candidate has never been higher, at least not in my lifetime.

Wow I was watching msnbc and got the full version. Rachel maddow looked sick and they had head after head going after her.

But yes trump and his staff are clueless. Someone could have really cleaned the gop's clock this year and won a landslide over Hillary. Oh well trump 2016!

This. Why aren't people pissed about this? The GOP put up pretty much the one option that could have lost to Hillary.

That dude from Nebraska (he didn't run) would have won 60/40.

The last time I checked, he defeated 16 opponents. I'm not a fan of his, and don't profess to be an expert, but my "overpowering sense of the obvious" tells me folks are really PISSED about the status quo. I seriously doubt he can defeat the entitlement party/media whores, but none of the so-called experts have gotten anything right so far.......

For whatever reason, this is a very overlooked fact.

The Left is OK with a serial liar. Stupid people are hard to defeat.

I still think that some of this is going exactly as they want it to go...these guys aren't idiots and as JimB said they have so far have defeated everything thrown at them from infinitely more experienced and organized candidates/groups. This game starts for real in about 8 weeks and the fact that hildabeast has spent so much money/airtime hammering him and is now in a dead heat shows that the public is pissed and the libs aren't all that bright. Trump might be getting the most free airtime of any presidential candidate yet.....so gaffes right now don't have lots of substantive meaning right now unless you have already decided the guy is not going to get your vote.

If the man gets elected and does these things, he will be a resounding success. First get more jobs back in this country/create more jobs. Second get illegal immigration under control and get our borders buttoned up. A close third would be shoot obysmal care in the head and come up with a better mousetrap. Fourth get rid of some governmental departments and last get the military back up to strength including unraveling/correcting the VA Hospital mess. Any individual who has served the military and or retired, been injured or incapacitated in that service deserves the best care available period!

That's a pretty good list except for the "get more jobs back in this country". Jobs that have left this country aren't coming back; that's a pipe dream. Creating new jobs is what has to happen.

Good list of things to do which will take some time. I want him to do several things immediately upon being sworn in. Rescind all Obama executive orders back to the first one Obama imposed including a release of all Obama's records conveniently embargoed. I want the world to know what an imposter Obama is. Next, issue an executive order rescinding all regulations imposed by Obama from day one. Next, nominate a Scalia type justice to the SCOTUS. Immediately begin selling off government owned real estate. It's obscene to be paying people to sit in empty or unused buildings watching porn on their laptops for years on end. 60 Minutes many years ago ran a segment about all the warehouses crammed full of outdated WWII products nobody wants or can use. Have a massive garage sale, disposed of the buildings and fire/RIF the caretakers. It's time someone actually goes after the waste, fraud and abuse which is talked about but never put into action.

As to the VA. As someone who frequents them, I have no gripes with the care I've been given. The hard part is getting in (and finding a parking space)---once in the queue, the care I've received is equal to what I've gotten in civilian hospitals. The VA has their set of procedures and I had to adjust my life to comply with those procedures. Once done, it's relatively easy to get the care needed. I spent a week in the VA hospital over Memorial Day and the care I received was as good as any non-government hospital I've been in. I was literally in a bed in the ER being seen by a doctor within 5 minutes of writing my name and problem on their form. While in the hospital I was seen twice daily by a minimum of 3 doctors and several times more. The Dallas VA is a teaching hospital for UT's medical school. Over 90% of the doctors I see have UT Southwestern written on their white coats. True, one can't go see a specialist without a referral from a primary care doctor and those take several weeks to schedule, however, when there is an emergency, you are moved to the head of the line for immediate care.

Are there improvements needed at the VA? Absolutely. From my experience over 25 years, I have no real complaints.

Imprimis, I think there are definitely VA hospitals that perform better than others. I think they should all function like what you see. It sounds Pollyannaish but there should not be one veteran that receives anything but the best care needed and in the shortest time necessary.

I agree although the Dallas VA is the only one I use and it had its problems early in this century but appears to have cleaned up much. Some of the problems may stem from the veterans themselves. The guy they put in the bed (semi-private room) next to me was an absolute asshole. I admire the doctors, nurses and technicians who put up with his nonsense when they shouldn't have had to.

Trying to explain the trump campaign to old school Republicans and the national media is like trying to explain Facebook to my parents. Everytime folks think he's clueless he ends up rising in the polls.

It's like the summer of George. He's simply doing the opposite of everything that a traditional candidate would do and it ends up working for him.

The ironic thing is, the Democrats put up pretty much the one option that could have lost to Trump. The only reason Trump and Clinton have a chance in this election is because they're running against one another.
