@davidallen that does not cut it. You owe imprimis and myself a big apology. Anyone with half a brain could read his post and understand he was explaining how politics were played in Washington, not suggesting he was supporting someone who protected pedophiles. It is silly to think someone would actually have to explain that. I gave you the benefit of the doubt and tried to explain it, and holy cow you double downed on stupidity and hate responding to my post. I was shocked, I actually thought you were smarter than that, and was not so full of hate towards people for whatever reason.
So, it is hugely insulting David, that you choose to think the absolute worst about 2 posters on this board, that somehow we would defend people that protect pedophiles? To do that, you have to think the absolute worst about me as an individual, literally that both of us are absolutely morally corrupt.
So, you accuse us and put words in our mouths claiming somehow we would protect pedophiles for political purposes. Oh, then there it is, your post assuming the worst of both us is doing the same thing you accuse us of. You hide behind kids that have been abused to score political points on this board? But you do not even realize this because you cannot wait to post and score political point s and obviously must not have any respect for me as an individual.

My father lived thru his dad dying young at a young age and having to raise a family at a young age, a great depression, and some of the worst fighting in WW2 in the Philippines. Unfortunately it turned him in to an alcoholic, it was really bad. He was a mean old drunk, I was physically abused as a young child and took *zz whippings for stuff I did not deserve that was unreal. My older sister ran away in the 8th grade and we did hear from her for 5 years. I could go on and on........
My dad in a drunk stupor one night drives over my mom and kills her in the driveway, I then take care of my father as he gets ill with cancer and alzheimer's. 2 years in to my marriage my wife comes down with MS. I was adopted, my father was a great man (raised 2 families) and unfortunately his life sucked so bad early in his life he turned to alcohol, they had no counselors for our WW2 vets and living thru the great depression, it was suck it up soldier and go live. I walked away from a 6 figure job with a huge bonus to help stop corruption in a Fortune 500 Company all the while facing an uncertain future with a sick wife. I have 2 wonderful daughters, my youngest has hit a rough patch and her and her 2 kids are living with my wife and I currently.
I am not complaining about my life at all and actually my life experiences have made me a far better person IMO than it would be if life was easy, I would change nothing. My point is this David. Anyone questioning me when it comes to the *hit and the path you are going down is some serious hateful stuff, and I can tell you it is hateful David, a part of me wants to tell you were we can meet in Edmond and I will find out if this 56 year old body of mine still has a good *ss kicking left in it to dish out. Instead I am going to go mow my lawn and work up a big sweat and then swim in the pool with the grand kids and start up the grill.
I am not perfect, and I am not getting religious here either because religion has nothing to do with who you are IMO, but what I do know, I feel like when the big chips have been down I followed the example of the adults that were around me as a young child and I did what was right and I did them because I wanted to and I understood love of family and self, and some things not being for sale.
So, excuse me if I find how inappropriate both of your flippant responses are, all I know if I felt like this board was full of pedophile protectors I would be long gone and that is what made your posts so poor in taste because I do believe that is true for everyone on this board but yet you go there. I was so glad to learn today that is how I was identified and someone cornering me in to, either explain myself to you or accept being labeled by you. Screw that. That it could be done so easily and flippantly to try to create some political narrative that you seem to think is more important than the reputation of the person behind the key board who does not find any humor what so ever in whatever game you are playing I find very cruel, insensitive, and hateful. Especially when any type of abuse on young child raises my hair, been there and done that.
