For perspective, could you quantify the amount of respect you are referring to on a scale of 1 to 10. I’d hate for your message to be obscured by the lack of this critical detail.

JimmyBob and I are roughly the same age, come from the same generation and have experienced many of the same experiences. I respect him for that. We’re both too old to get into pissing matches just because we disagree about something over which neither of us has any say.
