At George Mason University. Apparently Virginia’s governor has been invited to give the commencement address at the upcoming graduation ceremony. Because he advocates and implements policies with which the campus Democrats disagree they have called for the school to rescind the invitation and invite someone who will tell them things they want to hear. The university president stiffened his back and told them the school will not disinvite the state’s governor. This has angered the young Democrats, who will almost certainly try to ruin the decorum of the event with a protest-turned-clown-show. They have loudly proclaimed “our voice will not be silenced!” It apparently doesn’t occur to them that they are trying to silence the governor’s voice. Where’s the logic in that?

The wingnuts have come a long way with their free speech hate. Hell, when Pres. Nixon spoke at our graduation in '74 all that happened was some wingnuts stayed seated during a stand up session.
