Why aren't there any term limits on national offices? I get so tired of listening to the old ass people who have no idea what's really going on in America.

For good of the country. But wait.....that's why the country is in the mess it is.

It's already been decided by the SCOTUS that they cannot have term limits imposed on them by the states. US Term Limits v Thornton (1995). Arkansas imposed term limits on their members of the US Congress. The SCOTUS said that a state cannot impose qualifications stricter than what is contained in the Constitution. SCOTUS said there are already term limits since each Representative stands for election every 2 years and Senators every 6 years. It would take a Constitutional amendment to change the terms.

Sounds like the SCOTUS is taking a willfully obtuse definition of what the meaning of "is" is.
