No endorsement. Trump stole his thunder when he walked in during cruz's final lines. Awesome.
Not confusing at all.Wait...so you don't like Trump and aren't voting for him, but you're pissed about a lack of endorsements for him?
Confusing to say the least.
Seems to me that Cruz did well enough in the primaries that he gets his turn on the podium to sway the direction of the RNC platform. Don't see any obligation to endorse Trump for that matter either.
The same is true for Bernie Sanders at the upcoming DNC. He's under no obligation to say nice things about Billery.
Honestly, I always thought of the pledge as respecting the winner and not mounting a third party run and poaching votes. Never considered that it might imply that you had to endorse anyone.
Trump's campaign has even been on record saying their VP is essentially in charge. How f'ed is that?
True. However, the Hildebitch campaign won't let anyone on stage who doesn't toe the campaign's theme. That's the difference between the GOP and dems...the dems always unite around their candidate or issue regardless of their inner feelings. The same is true for Bernie Sanders at the upcoming DNC. Ps sys can you do it in that voice where you make fun of melania for being a foreigner? That was great.
I don't think any of my actions takes away from your xenophobic attack on trumps wife
How could Cruz possibly endorse a man who attempted to link his father to the assassination of JFK?
If he had declined to speak, Trump supporters would be ripping him for that.Cruz would have been better served to gracefully decline the invitation to speak. I agree with him ideologically, but he's not good at the art of politics.

I see what you're doing. Last night was such an epic monkeyf*#@ that you want to get ahead of it - call me out, try to mitigate it. I don't blame you. It's obvious what you're doing, but I can't blame you, I'd do the same thing.
The country is awestruck at the ugly, amateurish, whiskey tango pageant the conservatives are hosting. Boo's, breached pledges, screaming at wives, shattered careers, assault rifles, plagiarism, paranoia, academic fraud, soap opera stars, I haven't had this much fun since the tilt-a-whirl car flew into the crowd. The trashy spectacle last night will be talked about for years and years.
Trump attacked and insulted his family. I wouldn't endorse someone that attacked my family and if you are going to give me a pulpit then I am going to use it to specifically NOT endorse you. It was a brilliant marketing move by Trump to give him the prime time speaking spot and plant people in the audience to start the shouts and boos.
The thing that not many people talk about is that Cruz (thru his subordinates) attacked Trump's wife first.
I don't like it either way. Very slimy.
Obviously, Hillary is fair game.
It's funny. Conservatives are all the time complaining about GOP politicians not standing their ground for true conservative values. They are all the time bemoaning alleged conservative politicians for rolling over in order to preserve the "R" team. Then when someone actually does it, he gets blasted. Personally I like a guy, politically at least, whom John Boehner and Mitch McConnell can stand.
I understand why people want a unified front for appearance reasons, I just don't care. If someone wants to get up there and disagree with Trump his entire speech, I'm OK with that.
