Syria

Good. Kill them all. It is almost finished. The US led rebellion of sunni extremists that would have lead to the genocide of Christians in Syria is almost at it's end. Amazing the media don't cover the pic of jubilant Syrian cities like Allepo that have been liberated.

There are too many factions to pick a side and you throw in the rubics cube of our foreign policy dealing with Muslims the last fifty years there is no right answer at this point. I do know too many of those countries can’t handle democracy. Look at Egypt. Unfortunately their culture (some, not all, but millions of them) require oppression so they don’t slaughter each other even worse.

Explain how women and children foaming at the mouth and suffocating is “Christian” virtue.

Time for Biff to launch 83 missiles at some metal buildings. He'll call ahead and warn them the attack is coming.

Ol' Biff was really gonna get this sorted out. As it turns out his strategy was simply to let Putin and Assad win with sarin. Brilliant strategy.

Pretty coincidental timing. Trump indicates it’s time to get out of Syria (which I didn’t like...just keep your mouth shut), and now we have a gas attack to bait us into responding.

do you know American forces wiped out hundreds of Russian “contractors” a few months ago?

Agree. Trump should have kept his mouth shut about pulling out.

Every time Assad's close to winning he seems to have to gas some non combatants to provoke the "international community."

I guess his Western education as a MD, didn't provide him with logical critical thinking skills.

I believe nothing anymore that’s reported by the U.S. media on its face. The story behind the story is what interests me.

Oh I brought it up on here. Asked about it. Huge collective yawn. I couldn't understand why there weren't victory laps over it.

That said, I still can't tell what happened. At first we killed a few hundred of them, then it was not at all what happened, there was supposedly audio of russians saying they got their asses kicked, but then it was walked back. I can't tell and haven't stopped to see what the final version was. Regardless, no credit is due Biff - it was a military decision made right then and there to not give up the other side of the river. If it happened the huge silence about should tell you what you need to know. It either didn't happen, or it's the one and only time we've kicked Russia's ass head to head and nobody is talking about it?

I have to disagree with you here. By your own admission, it was a military decision. Guess who gave control back to the generals and military because that’s not his forte? Biff.

The smartest man in the room made sure all military decisions ran through the White House. I prefer this Administration’s foreign policy although I hope it gets more fully-formed and soon!

I think the decision to engage was one of self defense. We had taken some strategic oil infrastructure, were sitting on it, and the mercenaries were trying to take it back.

Okay, so if Biff had something to do with it and it happened, where's the flag waiving and bragging? I mean.... a one sided demolishing like this? Nobody's says anything? From BIFF?!?

I don’t know man. Not everything is so self-evident. Trump is reportedly a student of The Art of War. “Appear weak when you are strong and strong when you are weak.” One possible explanation?

I suppose. Or we have a generation of U.S. military professionals that lay in bed at night and pray somebody - hopefully Russia - f♡♤◇◇ s with them, and when it finally happened they did their job and Biff didn't crow because he's committed to giving syria to putin. Incident of the last 24 hours kind of supports this one.

Interestingly, the POTUS hasn't said "now go pave their base."

Syria is not our’s to give to Putin. Obama and HRC’s state department created the vacuum for Putin to help Assad. I know it fits your narrative and if Trump is in Putin’s pocket I’ll eat my hat. Just sick of playing World Police for inbreds.

Or maybe Biff doesn't feel compelled to take credit for something he had nothing to do with. I know it's probably shocking to you bootlickers, but Obama didn't actually kill bin Laden. He simply approved the mission from the comforts of DC just as any other person in the US would have.

Regarding the latest reported chemical attack in Syria, I would hope we don't bomb anything without some sort of confirmation of what exactly happened and who is responsible. Those opposition forces are some fairly sketchy folks too.

shysterkine, I know you'd love to credit Biff for giving Syria to Putin but that was done well before he took office. Putin rolled into town while Barry diddled his butthole trying to figure out who could use which bathroom. Leading from behind, as Barry was famous for, gave Putin the green light.

Hey I'm not sure what has happened, I'm not even saying Biff is doing the wrong thing by clearing out. (Except for calling ahead, then launching 57 missiles at a shed). He may be just the right guy for NK. We'll see. It's just a real strange, quiet deal that nobody talks about. I dont get why.

This is an interesting post in many ways. May circle back.

Zero percent chance Assad launched a chemical attack on a province that was 90% cleared of terrorists. Why not do it a year ago when they were daily lobbying mortars on Damascus?

Any US soldier that is asked by Trump to become the Air Arm of ISIS/Al Queda against the sovereign state of Syria should refuse the order.

Unjust/unlawful orders are not to be obeyed. That was established at Nuremburg

I fully support Russia if they should choose to retaliate against illegal and rouge us forces that do not belong in Syria.

I wouldn't say zero, but it is weird there's apparently been no independent verification yet of the claims that chemical weapons were used.

Could it have been the terrorist opposition forces that used them to lure the US and allies into action as they continue to lose ground? Or could it have been staged to lure the US and allies into action?

The next few days may be interesting. I just hope the US and allies do some work to investigate and not just bomb the shit out of somebody.

Ummm are you serious?

If Assad had killed American soldiers with Sarin/chlorine gas, we’d currently have 10,000+ troops and a substantial Mediterranean Sea naval presence with cruise missile strikes. Trump would have the full support of the American public to take out Assad, Russia be damned.

He waited till we left, to avoid such a certainty of kick-the-sh!t-out-of-every-one-of-em response, instead of a lesser, humanitarian/peacekeeping response. It remains a civil war, and we remain largely on the sidelines.

“A Syrian military source was quoted as saying air defenses shot down eight missiles fired at the base, where defense analysts say there are large deployments of Russian forces, and where jets fly regular sorties to strike rebel-held areas.”

I was in tears at the many scenes from the liberated Syrian city of Allepo which had huge Easter celebrations. That had not been possible for years because of US support of Islamic extremists.

So I DO NOT support us troops who follow illegal/immoral orders and I say a big thank you to Russia who prevented a Christian genocide. Thank God for Putin.

A US attack is rumored. If that is the case refuse the order and stand down. if you are in the military quit now. DO NOT let kids join the military. WHAT the **** is the use when we suffered 9-11, declared war on AL queda and then bomb on behalf of them now?

Pentagon has denied it so best bet is Israel trying to drag us into something. I know a lot of you will hate me but if that’s the case, it adds credence to some of @NZ Poke’s posts. I’m the opposite of anti-semetic, but we shouldn’t fear speaking the truth of certain rogue factions within foreign governments.
