Supreme Court case today

Not dodging at all, I'm telling and teaching women they should never trust anyone with their bodies and take sole responsibility for protecting against an unwanted pregnancy. Afterall isn't it their body their choice? Unless we can create laws that hold men accountable in a meaningful way the only logical thinking is for women to take 100% responsibility to protect against an unwanted pregnancy.
Shouldn't your son take 100% responsibility as well?

Barking up the wrong tree there. Son married the girl he has been exclusively dating since 8th grade, he's 28. Your concerns would be better served for the deadbeat dads.

for every baby put up for adoption in the US, there are 20 couples waiting to adopt it

people adopt internationally because there are a lot of American couples wanting to adopt babies

Yep my niece adopted 2 American Kids as she cannot have any of her own. One a white special needs girl and an african american girl and she wants to adopt another. And its not all about just not being able to have any, she is the type that would adopt even if she had kids of her own she loves giving these kids a home.

And Dave thinks I am the one dancing.
Shhhh don't tell him.

@CowboyJD , if you're out there, could you give a brief treatise on criminal non-support? Three lines or less.

Kinda busy moving to a new county to manage the entire office.

Plus you non-ironically asking me for a legal lesson kind of freaks me out.

Feels very “It’s a trap”py, Counselor.

Nope. It was just to respond to the "men aren't held accountable" argument. I know most if not all states' prosecutors have divisions to go after deadbeats, but that's way out of my lane.

Good luck holding this guy and the hundreds of thousands like him accountable.

I’m very pro-life. Needed to state that first.

My daughter, who could not have kids due to a cancer diagnosis chose to adopt a child so I have been deeply involved in the adoption process with her.

The red tape and cost associated with adoption is significant. I understand the need to thoroughly vet the adopting parents so there should be some cost associated with that. I understand, but the cost to adopt a kid is out of control in the US. Around $40,000.

I don’t have the answer but if the cost was reduced to something manageable I think we could see a result that everybody could embrace. I hate government spending with a passion but if congress could find a way to subsidize adoption by eliminating a few ridiculous government programs I think we could all win.

I'm very pro-choice. I agree with this approach and think individuals also need to put their money and support into helping women faced with the difficult choice of abortion. Stop shaming them. Start supporting them.

Why am I not surprised you support irresponsibility?
I do agree we do need to put money and support into helping some of these women but it damn sure isn't helping them have an abortion. It should be into ways to help them become responsible for themselves. Take the money Democrats give to support abortion and spend it on helping women protect themselves against an unwanted pregnancy. Democrats can still get their kickbacks.

I have one adopted child and give money towards a religious group that helps with adoption costs.

I like the idea of making the government smaller but I would be 100% on board with it fully funding adoptions
