Stock Market

Who can't love a crew that is happy when the stock market goes up and thinks it's even better when it goes down? It's a good thing! Biff can't lose with these people! Such Faith!

Do you really want me to play this game with you or do you just want to take you moral victory?

They sure seem hateful for not being mad. Name calling and everything....

I can quote messages too. Saying **** you to your dumb ass doesn’t mean I’m mad. I just said **** you because you are a ****ing moron. I’m not mad at all. I’m laughing my ass off at every single one of your posts. I’m a bit sad that someone as dumb as you is affiliated in some way with my school though.

Done with the grueling night of dragging cable already? I hope you aren't posting and driving. The life of an ESPN roadie is tough. That's why local college kids usually fill those roles. It takes a special kind of stupid to think that's a meaningful job at the age of 34.

Let me explain something for you economic illiterates

The stock market is down due to an automated computer selloff of stocks being sold for bonds.

Why?

Because an interest rate hike is imminent.

And that makes the yield for bonds better.

This is actually a good sign for the economy.

But go ahead and act like a bunch of buffoons flinging feces and cleaning it up with your tongues.
This is why I continue to pay to be here. Comedy at its finest. Please oh literate one tell us more!

Sure one of the causes of the concern over inflation is the rising wages your buttbuddies said wasn’t occurring.

I’ll admit part of this is a correction.

But it’s not the doom and gloom you want it to be.

Watching the market bounce a bit. Certainly some opportunities to put more cash to work. Google pulled back 10% following earnings and the stall. AT&T pulled back 10% and still offers over 5% div. CVS has pulled back 15% from its peak. I think the 25% annual gains are probably coming to an end, but this pullback simply highlights buying opportunities for good brands that have come off their highs. Others of note:

Apple is 12% of its high. Netflix is 10% off its high. Amazon is 8%. These companies aren't going away. If you are looking to trade, then don't listen to this post as I can't predict the near term future. But as I generally buy and hold good companies, I expect this correction will consolidate bottoms and the best companies will be off and running again.

CNBC dangling the idea of wiping out taxpayers 401K’s and college savings.

I thought the Dems believed that the market gains in the first year of a new president were the byproduct of the prior president? Isn't that what everyone said in regards to Trump's gains?

Obama didn’t hand over a recession lol.

Carry on.

@CSCOTTOSUPOKES tell me, in your opinion (don’t link an article) why the market dropped the last few days.

Follow up, why was it up so bigly before that?

Had a nice little 10% correction, those are actually necessary in a healthy economy.

Smart money starting move in, buy on the dips, dips.

That;s what I did. Bought 50 shares of Netflix at 256 earlier today. Really looking at Microsoft but haven't pulled the trigger. I think their cloud business is under-rated, but I'm already a bit tech heavy in my portfolio.

I'm buying. I was sitting on some cash at the end of the year and it's been burning a hole in my pocket while trying to find good deals in the jacked up market.

Clinton? What happened? Everyone bailed, then realized...wait, we want to be in this market. And amazingly, its already recovering. One bad market day does not a bad president make.

to bad obama had absolutely nothing to do with the stock market increases during his term. I'm not sure he could spell stock market. He was just on the bus when it finally went the right direction. The guy was clueless and benefited from other occurrences that happened during his term.

You’re doing the exact same thing Clinton is being accused of doing.
