You have always been one of my favorite posters on this board (I hope that doesn’t alter how others feel about you). I truly respect your opinion and look forward to your comments. So I’m curious what progress you have seen by the Trump administration in its first 100 days. Can you give a few examples? The first hundred days are supposed to be the honeymoon period where the prez gets his way on almost everything, and then the opposition has figured out how to stymie him, causing a bombastic donnybrook the rest of the way. I think Maher is right that the MAGA’s *should* be disappointed in his presidency so far. But based on my interactions with the MAGA’s on this board I don’t think they are capable of emotionally considering that possibility. I said in another comment I have realized the MAGA’s love him because the Democrats hate him. As long as the Democrats hate him the MAGA’s will revere him with godlike status. I hate the Democrats as much as any MAGA on this board. But then there is a lot about MAGA I hate as well. IMO the smartest thing the Democrats could do is shut up about their hatred of the man and sit back and watch him implode by his own doing. That is the only thing that could cause some of the MAGA’s to abandon him.
