CSB time: I'm just one Kevin Bacon removed from Stormy Daniels.

In some of my earlier days in L.A., I had met this aspiring actress and had a short-lived "friend with benefits" style arrangement. I few years later and I found out she had shot a couple of pilots with Daniels for a (non-porn, but scantily clad) cooking show. Apparently the production company failed to get a syndication deal lined up, but they released the show on video at some point.

I would imagine such a show would have no problem selling today in the syndication market. I never met Stormy, but I found out about the endeavor when the actress called me with a legal question when they were shooting the show. By then I was seriously dating my now wife and never spoke to her again.

I might DVR it and watch it if anything is reported from it that interests me. But probably not.

I really just don't care at this point. Not my business.

I’m not going to click the “like” button on this until you post pictures.

I always DVR 60 minutes so I imagine I will watch it at some point. I understand why it is interesting to many. But I don’t see why people think this will negatively effect Trump. I think people know by now his has a strong interest in women.
The fact he potentially had an affair during beginnings of his current marriage shouldn’t bother liberals, who didn’t have a problem with it when it occurred in the Oval Office. And I don’t see his supporters leaving him over this.

Ostatedchi,

I generally agree with you, but there are things that tend to make it the "public's concern."

1. The denials and claims by the White House that she's lying. That puts the credibility of Trump and his spokesperson (Sanders) on the line. (They could have avoided this by simply declining to even address the issue.

2. The role that the payment plays in potential violations of the FEC's rules on campaign financing.

3. The lawsuit which Trump joined as a defendant and which included a counter claim for damages. He could have stayed out of it completely, but instead chose to make himself part of the lawsuit. At that point, much of this does become newsworthy and relevant to what is going on within his administration.

Remember Bill Clinton, under oath, saying "I did not have sex with that woman".

I didn't care then and thought it was a witch hunt. I feel the same way about this. They are no different
Only that was an intern. Big difference.

Position of authority is a pretty decent difference.

So a billionaire fvcked a porn star before ever being a candidate.

His business not mine
That part of the story, I agree with you to a large degree.

But what happened during the campaign that was likely violative of Federal Campaign Laws, makes it people's business.

You don’t think Trump was acting from a position of authority?

A consensual office affair is not hugely different from any other consensual affair.

I disagree. Do you put a 25 yr old manager and 18 yr old subordinate in the same category as 25 yr old teacher and 18 yr old student?

They got him this time. Banged a consenting porn star 1 time. She got some money to keep it on the down low now she feels she sold out to cheap. Looking for 15 minutes a big payday.

Her attorney is a Dem operative regardless of his denials.

130k payment, BFD the Clinton's have run 100's millions of dirty money through their foundation and it's ho hum for the dems.

This means nothing to anyone who isn't anti Trump.

Good point with those PARTICULAR two situations. No, I wouldn’t put those two examples in the same par. The latter is more egregious and Oklahoma Law makes the second illegal.

Comparing a completely consensual relationship between an intern in the White House and the President to a completely consensual relationship between a billionaire offering to get a porn star on his popular tv show at the time results in a “not a big difference” evaluation from me though.

Lol.

So Trumpy.

Him lying about it means something to some....even those that aren’t anti-Trump. Him cheating on his wife means says something about his personal integrity to some...even those who aren’t anybody but Trumpers.

Trying to argue that it means nothing is as ridiculous as trying to argue that it is worthy of impeachment or criminal action of some sort.

I respectfully disagree. A co-Ed ****ing the quarterback of the football team is not even close to the partner of the law firm ****ing the summer intern.

For real?

Monica rejects and in her view her whole entire life aspiration is gone.

Stormy rejects she just got one less dick of thousands.

How does that even equate in your brain?

It’s like teacher fvcks student. Student was thinking it ensures good grade

Vs

Stripper fvcks Leo D because she can or denies because it’s one less cockn

Nope.

Monica even said it was completely mutual and consensual. She made out pretty good afterwards too. It’s not like teacher and student.

Trump and Clinton aren’t exactly the same, but they are much closer to each other than Clinton and a teacher/student thing. There is not a big difference between the Clinton/Trump affairs. The primary difference is Bill lied about it....under oath.

It is interesting you made Trump the QB of the football team in this little analogy.

Quite a cheerleader move some might say.

Wtf are you talking about? When the affair started he was at the pinnacle of his celebrity status. Not a cheerleader move at all.

Trump was every bit the partner of a firm ***ing who someone who wanted a job....oddly enough on a tv show called “The intern”.

You went with a starry eyed girl ***ing the star QB for an analogy instead. The power dynamics in the Clinton/Lewinsky and Trump/porn star scenario are remarkably similar.
