All week long, I've been tuning into the three sports talk stations in Oklahoma City to hear about the B12 Championship game, and all they talk about on the radio is OU, OU, OU, OU, OU and OU.

Last night I turned to AM 1520 in my garage in Waco. There was KOKC (formerly the giant KOMA) in OKC. I guess KOKC will never replace the 3 Western Electric 250,000 watt transmitters the 2015 Moore tornado took down. KOKC is now broadcasting with a single tower omni-directional with 10,000 watts day and night.

The old pattern was 50,000 watts day and night, omni-directional day time and north and west night time with primary lobe to Seattle. I couldn't get KOKC period.
