That is fantastic news, if true. I will say this knowing full well it’ll drive most of you insane: there is no way Israel would have agreed to this if they thought they were winning.

I think the Israelis were shocked that Iran punched back as hard as they were punched. The European and American “Israelis” were fleeing like rats on a sinking ship. I believe the Israelis thought they were bullet proof and were flummoxed to see they were just as vulnerable as Iran. They did not think they would suffer the material damage. Like most Americans they are soft (the way bullies frequently are). Much more pounding and they might have strung up Netanyahu. Bibi, always the self preservationist, needed to stop this war and stop it now. That’s my opinion. What’s yours?
Oh, one other thing. I didn’t say I thought Israel was losing. I said they knew they weren’t winning. They’ve always won and won easily because they fought people who had no way to fight back. That led them to think it would always be that way. When it wasn’t happening I think they were more than willing to stop their own bleeding.

You bring up an interesting point. There’s no question that Hezbollah and Hamas have been seriously compromised which means Iran has been weakened. But that doesn’t mean it is vulnerable to defeat by Israel. It has multiple advantages over the Zionists. The only advantage Israel has is DJT is in their pocket. But even that doesn’t necessarily mean Iran has no chance. I bet the idea for a ceasefire was first broached by Israel. They recognize they might win against Iran, but have been stupefied when they realized the price they would have to pay. Yes this is speculation on my part, and even if it’s true Netanyahu and Trump would never admit it. Hezbollah and Hamas, by the way, had no chance for total victory over the IDF. And still the IDF has never put either one of them away. That fact alone should tell how badly Netanyahu calculated his chances against Iran. If he orders DJT to send American troops to get killed on Israel’s behalf in another stupid war the American public might revisit the resistance that almost brought the government to its knees during the war in Vietnam.
