Biden: "Republicans are our opposition, not our enemy. Compromise is not a dirty word." I appreciate this statement very much on the heels of Hillary's view that Republicans are the enemy. How can a person govern when they believe half of the country is their enemy? A person with such a small minded view of government has no business being the President.
Surely you don't believe him. When has a liberal democrat ever compromised? We don't need compromise they need their asses beat, and get them out of a position of power. End of story.
It doesn't matter whether I believe him or not, especially since he's not running. It's the sentiment that matters that clearly Hillary is lacking. Plenty of Republicans have the same attitude and they can go to hell as well.
I've never understood the "we have to compromise to govern" crowd.
Compromising just to say you did something is idiotic. I would rather see nothing done than to add bad laws and policies to the books.
Compromise to a Democrat is you give us 90% of what we want and we'll call it a compromise.
