I love watching documentaries about WWII. Was watching one the other night on D-Day that talked about something rarely mentioned in history, French civilian deaths as a result of allied bombing, shelling and infantry battles. Around 20,000 innocent French civilians were killed in just the fighting of D-Day alone, yet the allied forces were welcomed and celebrated by the French people as hero's.
Have watched numerous other documentaries about the Allied and German bombing campaigns of France, Germany, Britain, Russia, Poland, Italy, Malta, etc, etc, all targeted civilian populations killing millions, yet never was their a mention of either side committing genocide. Strange how killing millions of civilians in WWII wasn't considered genocide but anytime Israel is forced into war, the usual suspects all start screaming genocide.
