Shooter opens fire on crowd after Cinco de Mayo party in Stillwater shut down; four people struck

Four people were injured Sunday morning after an unknown shooter opened fire on a crowd leaving a Cinco de Mayo party. The shooter fired into a crowd at the White Barn Estates in Stillwater after security staff reportedly shut down the party, Stillwater Police Capt. Kyle Gibbs said. Police were initially dispatched around 1:30 a.m. to the estates, located in the 2000 block of East Lakeview Road in Stillwater, for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found one man with gunshot wounds to his chest and hand. Later, medical personnel from two regional hospitals notified police that additional victims had arrived seeking treatment. Gibbs said two victims arrived to a Stillwater hospital.
