I am of the opinion if legislation is not good enough to get 60 votes in the Senate it's not legislation that should be passed. Doesn't matter to me if it's Republicans or Democrats in the majority. Half of the country cannot be allowed to rule over the other half. Yes, it is frustrating at times, but the legislative process should be deliberate and well thought out for the whole of the country not just one party.

The rule should have been changed years ago.

Half of the country cannot be allowed to rule over the other half.
🤣🤣

Elections have consequences. But that's right, you want to overturn any election a Republican loses.

I disagree but that comes as no surprise to anyone. Some of us care about serving the people as a whole, some care about ruling over the people. No doubt you are one that wants to rule.

Please, you could care less about serving the people as a whole. All you care about is repeating what your right-wing propagandists tell you. Every day they get you riled up about something new.

btw, still waiting on those impeachable offenses for Biden and Harris all Democrats are going to vote for!🤣🤣

Too bad, so sad for Chuckie. 52 of the US Senators have some common sense.

Anyone else member “nOrMs AnD iNsTiTuTiOnS”?

Lol! You had to look it up.
No, I knew about the debate surrounding the two phrases. I did have to look up an article that discusses the debate though.

But after fascistinlouisiana's meltdown post, I thought it was appropriate lol!

Words mean things. "Could not care less" means that you have reached the absolute minimum level of concern (zero). "Could care less," for those of us who speak English, could mean caring very little, or caring quite a bit. The latter is used by the same sort of uneducated boobs who say "supposably" and "ekspecially".

Should I? Oh, why not. It is just too much fun making the monkey dance...

What happened to the days of lawmakers trumpeting bipartisan legislation? Now the norm is Democrats shoving legislation down the throats of half the country. Unlike you I do not support legislation that is strictly down party lines. IMO that creates more division and is not good for the country. I much prefer legislation that neither side gets everything they want.

I have to disagree. Marxo-fascist idiots like 2Clintons should never get anything they want. In fact, they should be driven off of a cliff as the Spartans did with the Persians.

I don't know how it's Constitutional for Congress to create legislation that puts the federal government in charge of elections. My understanding is the Constitution specifically grants that right to each individual state.
