Anyone else see the setup here? I don't think the russians will invade and think the bug-eyed Burbank Bolshevik is setting up a scenario where something that is never going to happen is none the less allegedly prevented by a guy who couldn't prevent it from happening EVER! Setting up another imaginary win for cho xiden, knowing that the press will get out their extra-thick knee pads to profess the monumental world saving maneuvers from the Depends in Chief.

Dude is full of schiff. Ukraine ain't Georgia (the country, not the state, lefties). It's relatively large. I don't think Putin wants to invest Russian lives and treasure to capture a massive white ghetto. And he doesn't have the ability to conscript brown people from the "-stans" to serve as fodder like Stalin did to beat back the Germans.

Putin threatens to invade Ukraine, Biden provides concessions and Putin wins without ever lifting a finger. Democrats and their propaganda outlets will claim Biden avoided WWIII and his loyal sheep will stay in the herd growing their wool waiting to get fleeced.

So which is it? Is it all a conspiracy to make Biden look good (as racist @windriverrange believes) or a ploy for Putin to gain more power?

Or are you right-wing crazies having a hard time deciding this right now? Maybe need Fox News to help you out?

Now you’re just babbling and flailing like Taz.

I posted a link a few days ago of an Aaron Mate podcast with a Russian history scholar in which they discussed Ukraine at great length. It was 51 minutes long so no one wanted to bother with it. But had they listened they would have heard them talk about Schiff’s connection to the security state as reason number one why he pushed so hard on Russia, Russia, Russia, and how he was the dot-connctor from Russia, Russia, Russia with the Ukraine impeachment imbroglio. Schiff is obviously in bed with the war making security apparatus whose mission is to stir the coals to keep the fire hot.

Cliff's Notes: Pedo squats to pee.

People with no balls (Biden, Obama) should never draw lines in the sand. It always ends with cross this line you die, ok cross this line you die, fine cross this you die.

Line drawn, Russia's move. They were already pulling troops out a couple of weeks ago. Let's see if that reverses. Course acting all tough guy after Russia was already leaving the area is Shiff taunting Russia while beeing held back by Biden.

Since this thread is another pointless right-winger discussion . . . might as well enjoy some laughs...

Why would Russia invade Ukraine at this point? They already got Crimea which was their naval base and the Southern port access it provides. If someone truly believes Putin was about to invade, can you please explain your reasoning as to why you think Putin would do so and what would he gain for doing so? Also, please explain why he didn't just invade when he had the opportunity, you know like he did in '12 or '13 when he took Crimea. Occam's Razor says that this was a buildup for show in order to get concessions from the US and EU on either the energy or NATO discussions that are ongoing. Whether it worked or not, I don't know, as I don't know what concessions we may have given, but Biden hasn't shown himself as a pillar of strength in foreign policy thus far, so I can only assume that Putin got something for his efforts based on him moving troops out again.

What was your grade of Trump’s foreign policy?

Don't hold your breath.
I'm not. Particularly on the question I've asked, because the media hasn't talked about why "Putin would invade", we know the lefty maroons on this board can't discuss it. There's no easy Rachel Maddow talking point to regurgitate, and so their only play is "What about Trump?"

Yeah, we only saw 4 years of this during the Trump administration. I guess no questions answered on either side…..ever🤷‍♂️

Is it that hard to postulate a response without having talking points from your handlers? Quit dodging, man up, and provide your opinion on why Putin was about to invade the Ukraine. Describe what he would gain from doing so? But you are predictable. You've been so conditioned by your Democratic leaders that Russia is some adversarial bogeyman, that just the mere mention of them has you begging for Schiff, Biden and the rest of the clown show to save us from their supposed imperialism.

I’m still waiting for Biden to have Russian officials in the Oval Office and share US intel…

Didn’t you find this one a bit weird, even as a cuckservative? I doubt it…Perhaps you’ve been conditioned by your Republican leaders (and likely the talking heads) that Trump was tough on Russia🤷‍♂

Still dodging I see. One simple question, but because there's no MSNBC link to read, you have no ability to formulate an opinion. You might as well be a chatbot. Heck, maybe you are.

Russia aggression in the Ukraine border could be defused by Biden but he does not have the balls or the authority. GUARANTEE THAT UKRAINE IS NEVER ALLOWED TO JOIN NATO. Trump stood his ground with Putin on this issue. Before you leftist idiots start crowing on this point you should consider what the USA did for years to keep Cuba isolated from Russia. No country wants an enemy at their borders. Biden is far too weak to effect a solution.

Couldn't agree more........guarantee no NATO Membership then arm Ukraine to beyond the teeth. If we can train Saudi's to fly modern jets when we'll never let that corrupt ass kingdom fall then no reason to not do the same for Ukrainians, Poles and the Baltic states who don't want Russian overlords ever again. Won't be long (probably has already happened in word) that Russia will absorb Belarus and that really presents a springboard for any malfeasance Russia wants to be a part of with some plausible deniability built in.

Cho Xiden and his handlers might be the weakest group since Carter, okay weaker. They couldn't present an existential threat to a fly, let alone adults. If Germany and others want to buy ng from Russia so be it, we need to cut them loose. Probably would have no better partners then ex-USSR satellites who have been crushed under the Bolsheviks for nearly 100 years. We don't have to send 1,000's of soldiers, just make sure that if Russia comes out of the trenches with their own soldiers or proxies it will be extremely costly.

I do encourage people to read about the Crimean Conflict in mid 1800's. It was the root cause of many of the issues we see today with Russia vs the west.

Crimea is a house divided with half of them completely disenchanted with Ukrainian promises unfulfilled. Ukraine wants the support of the west but without the checks and balances on their corruption. Obama and Biden funneled money into Kiev without much oversight. The other half went with Russia and have been far less disappointed. Infrastructure wise, Russia poured a lot of money into Crimea in the last five years. Best course of action is to withdraw all support of Ukraine joining NATO (same as western Europe) and then leave that shithole. Putin does not want Ukraine. He was to insure he does not have enemies and the gates.
