Ain't that the truth. One of the reasons I am fine with Ocasio-Cortez winning a seat in the House (if it happens). She may not be the brightest, but I suspect that she is not in anyone's pocket (yet) either.

Term limits would solve so many problems in this country.

I disagree. The new guys are just cheaper, less willing to make deals with the other side against their handlers wishes.

We’ve had term limits at the Oklahoma legislature for quite a while now...nothing has improved. If anything it has become worse. I’m out there quite a bit for work. I see it up close.

Agree with JD. We have term limits. They are called elections. Generally, I'm against artificially restricting the candidate pool.

And if we had term limits then we'd just have politicians who look for larger hand outs quicker.

I'm not sure I agree. It takes time to groom someone, and build up the relationship before they are in your pocket.
