Tired of hearing this. If you believe it is as simple as not getting in to our run fits or gaps, than you have bad coaching, stupid players, or both.
The reality most likely, is that OSU does not have the talent to get off blocks and fill their gaps properly. Poorly coached as well, but not one good DL.
Would it be a surprise poor tacklers also are unable to get off blocks? I don’t think so.
I bring this up because with defense this bad it is most likely a combination of coaching and a lack of talent.
OSU may need an infusion of new coaches, but it also needs better talent.
The OL this year can at least run block. The DL can’t get pressure, and it they get moved easily by opposing OL, resulting in 11 yards per carry average by Baylor. Which is just staggering and hard to believe.
