I'm late to the party here, so I'm gonna reply blindly without reading what else has been said...
Regarding your bullies...
Bully 1. The child in the MAGA hat appears to weigh about 130 pounds soaking wet. He was picked out by a grown man for grandstanding, harassment and incitement to violence. The kid stood there with his hands in his pockets and smiled. In literally any other scenario, what I just described is a kid that stood up to a bully.
You could have been forgiven for this take the day it happened, but since then you've had plenty of opportunity to see multiple camera angles that show how wrong you are. You have ignored them in favor of protecting your narrative.
Question - aside from the hat, what could this kid have done differently that wouldn't have been interpreted as hostile? He is guilty of an
Orwellian face crime, and you are part of the shrieking lunatics that are persecuting him still.
Bully 2: Granted, Trump is a bully. But what he is not is stupid or reckless when it comes to high stakes negotiations. Let's look at the facts from yesterday...
Trump says, I'm accepting your invite, ignoring your disinvite and let me illustrate the emptiness of your security reason by citing the security agencies who said you are full of shit. I'll see you there.
Pelosi says nope. Doors will be locked (no mention of security anymore) to you until shutdown is over.
Trump says... OK, cool! See you then!
All in a matter of hours....
A smarter man than you would've paused to question why Trump suddenly and unexpectedly agreed after Nancy promised a re-invite after the shutdown. You are not a smart man, and thusly, you (as you do every. single. time.) jumped in head first into whatever potential trap and humiliating disappointment might have just been laid. He just took the high ground on the shutdown argument by agreeing to her terms. He also has painted her into a corner of acquiescing to a traditional SOTU invitation as soon as the shutdown is over - which he (or she, obviously) could do at any moment. Do you not have the intellectual curiosity or sense of danger to at least momentarily question what he might be up to? History says you should, but won't.
