Texas congressman Henry Cuellar carjacked at gunpoint in Washington, DC
U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, was carjacked at gunpoint by three men while parking his car in Washington, D.C.'s Navy Yard neighborhood.
Henry Cuellar says he’s concerned about voting for a $82.6 billion spending bill because of policy provisions that would make it easier to defund police departments.
But…he did just that… voting against an amendment to the spending bill which would have removed the language that made it easier to defund police departments.
NRCC COMMENT: “As crime continues to rise across the country, Texans won’t forgot that Henry Cuellar voted to make it easier to defund the police departments that keep them safe.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Torunn Sinclair
I wonder if he's regretting that vote about now.
