Former Oklahoma Sen. James Inhofe has died Tuesday morning at the age of 89, Fox News has confirmed.
Didn't follow the guy but having been a Senator from Oklahoma thought maybe some of you did.

Didn't follow the guy but having been a Senator from Oklahoma thought maybe some of you did.
He wasn't perfect, but he was fiscally conservative when it wasn't popular. He also knew when to leave. I didn't agree with everything he did, but he represented OK very well.

Co-worker and I talked with him a bit at TUL while waiting on a plane several years ago. We each thought the other personally knew him. He visited with us as if we had known him for decades. Unlike most politicians, you knew where he stood on issues. Very matter-of-fact.
