One of the things that is incredibly frustrating about freakin politics. It won't ever change, but would be nice to see only donations from the state/district of the person running for office be acceptable. Laughable that california, crap hole DC and New York have sent this orca 86% of her donations. Oh and I feel this way for every single person running for office....party affiliation not withstanding.

How about that, US tax payers fund a regime that sponsors terrorism around the world, then the US plays white hat to the world protecting against the terrorism sponsered by the regime the US funds. What a great deal for the Neocons.

Of course. Republicans represent the working middle class while the Dems are the party of the rich elites. Theres no wonder there is a wide disparity in fund-raising. Today's rich belong to the Democratic party. They used to be Republicans 20 years ago, and there's still a few out there, like the Koch's and the various bank CEOs. But the ultra-rich, particularly those whose mega-wealth came through tech, are Dems.

Talkin' 'bout Bill, Mark, and Warren of course. And given Elon's only very recent party transition, I'd seriously doubt he's been a bigger fundraiser to the right than the left overall or for even this cycle.
