What we are seeing is the result of recruiting classes rated in the forties. We have one player-Ford- from the 2024 class that is playing. Ratings have flaws as we well know but they do predict fairly well readiness to play. I like our commits but are any of them going to contribute next year when we are going to have massive needs? We are never going to to take a lot of transfers, especially difference makers , and therefore we have to recruit better. Losing the qb commit to TCU was not good.
