It’s tough watching 2 guys we potentially could have had lead their teams to hard-fought NCAA tourney victories the last 2 days.

Even having 2 projected lottery picks, it was David that willed Arkansas to an upset over Kansas. My understanding is he was committed and we asked him to look elsewhere in order to bring in Rondell (at Cade’s request?). Keeping Davis might have given us a better shot at Jaylen Williams also.

Then Miles put TCU on his back to hold off a very hot ASU team after seemingly two Judi f his knee. I’m not sure what the exact story is on him, but given his relationship with Cade, it seems like we probably could have had him had we prioritized him appropriately.

With either of those guys on our team, there’s a good chance we make the sweet 16. They would each fill a gaping hole on our team of a dynamic lead guard.

Just shows how fine the line is between NIT and sweet 16. Boynton seems to be able to identify talent…hopefully he can make the right decisions and put a decent roster together for next year.
