I know the “lazy” tag gets overused and people run with it to far but stories Ike this are examples of why people connected with the program have been frustrated with our recruiting approach under Mike.

Even before he has a driver’s license, Graves has major-college scholarship offers from OU, Nebraska, Arkansas and Tulsa.
During the holiday break from school, Graves was informed that he now is on recruiting radars at Colorado and UCLA.
Inexplicably, and in spite of Oklahoma State having gotten sensational results from former BTW stars like Reuben Gant, R.W. McQuarters and Justice Hill, Graves says “it’s been a long time” since he was contacted by anyone from the Cowboy program.
During a summer camp in Norman, Graves received his OU offer from Sooners head coach Brent Venables. Since that offer, Graves reports, there has been no communication with Oklahoma State.
“OSU was the first school I ever heard from,” he said, “but since I started getting offers from other places, I’ve not heard anything from OSU.”
