Your count of tens of thousands seems a bit extreme. It did, however, create an environment or perhaps more properly an expectation that the fake news articles filled perfectly.

Those involving the Democratic National Committee working against Bernie Sanders and those demonstrating the involvement of the corporate media in Hillary's campaign. The Bernie stuff was a big blow to the Democrats. I'm glad that got exposed. In the future, hopefully the party will avoid crowning their candidate before the primaries even begin.
There were maybe a half dozen surprises for me... not so much that actual
"thing" but the openness in which they were discussed in email. I was surprised at how in the bag the DNC was for HRC over Sanders.
Doubtful these recounts amount to much considering the lead Trump has in these states, but the fact they are moving forward with them is worrisome as their corruption knows no ends.

I was very concerned about this before the election but it appears rigging the election requires a far larger number of manufactured votes than the Dems are capable of producing.
I wasn't. After Obama took the rug from under Hillary during her first run, there were obvious signs in the lead up to her announcement of running this year that the DNC was all in on making her the candidate. I think the DNC panicked over the rapid emergence of Sanders and got sloppy, leading to the accusations Sanders was making about the DNC being biased before the emails ever broke.
If I could make love to a post, this would be the one that gets a good, solid two minutes of my attention.

She didn't dodge a draft, assault women, bankrupt a few hundred million, lie about donating to veterans charities, but she had her own server.
Women weren't drafted, duh. She condoned assaults on women by going after her husband's accusers. She lost nearly 6 BILLION US TAXPAYER DOLLARS while SOS. She's lied about just about everything (SNIPER FIRE!) and has an enormous pay to play slush fund that she calls a "charity." And yes, she had an email server in her house.
