No Trump was not proven correct. A wiretap of Manafort isn't what he claimed or said in his little temper tantrum.
You don't seem to have the same problem with lying and outright corruption of your beloved leader and those around him.
Can you describe the "smoking gun"? FISA court authorizes tap of Mannafort under both Obama and Trump administrations - is that what you (and DJT) are referring to? Is that "tapping my wires"?

I have a very strong hunch that there was massive illegal wire tapping at Trump Tower and other places yet to be identified, and furthermore massive illegal unmasking of opponents of the Obama administration in particular, and Democratic Party "enemies" in general. But I think it can all be explained away like this; it was done by rogue IRS agents out of the Cincinnati office.

He didn't say wires were tapped in Trump Tower. He said that his (Trump's) phones/wires were tapped....and that it was done after being turned down by the court.
No smoking gun that Trump's phones were tapped. Manafort phones aren't Trump's phones. Additionally the first wiretap on Manafort ended before he joined the campaign.
Feel free to argue that what he "meant" was something different than what he "said".
Since this thread is crediting CNN with providing the "smoking gun" (after repeated "fake news" BS about them).

Chris Cillizza doesn't report the news. Every article he writes is essentially an opinion article. This is his personal opinion and nothing more.
Not sure Clapper should be used as a source to cite on any side of any issue.
I could lawyer Clapper's words if I was so i inclined, but I agree that Clapper isn't the kind of witness I want on the stand. His claim was carefully worded, evasive and misleading at best, out and out false at worst.
The entirety of my comment was directed at the "smoking gun" that Trump was right in his tweetstorm nonsense advanced by Headhunter in this thread. That's it. That's all. You said you read, understand, and agree with that assertion. I'm good with that.
