Potential 'Smoking Gun' Showing Obama Administration Spied on Trump Team, Source Says

"The FBI hasn’t been responsive to the House Intelligence Committee’s request for documents, but the National Security Agency is expected to produce documents to the committee by Friday. The NSA document production is expected to produce more intelligence than Nunes has so far seen or described – including what one source described as a potential “smoking gun” establishing the spying."

So do we get to label this fake news when the smoking gun isn't revealed tomorrow?

"a source told Fox News."

I thought you guys weren't big fans of anonymous sources reporting intelligence information.

Lets see what they have to report. I am not stuck on "tomorrow".

"What I've read seems to be some level of surveillance activity, perhaps legal, but I don't know that it's right and I don't know if the American people would be comfortable with what I've read," said Nunes, who uncovered the reports.

"The reports were based on a foreign electronic spying operation between November and January. They were revealed by an intelligence community insider who alerted Nunes."

"This is information that was brought to me that I thought the president needed to know about incidental collection, where the president himself and others in the Trump transition team were clearly put into intelligence reports that ended up at this White House and across a whole bunch of other agencies," Nunes said after meeting Trump on Wednesday."

"The transcripts appeared to be the result of legal intelligence collection against a foreign target. The problem, Nunes said, was that someone in government ordered the names of the Americans to be unmasked and the reports to be distributed to government agencies."

That headline is fake news. Don't want to get incidentally recorded when a foreign target is under a legal FISA....don't talk to possible foreign national spies. That also isn't anything close to what the Trump tweets said.

Just saying....

The Obama administration is like a fart in an elevator. Stinks to high heaven but proving who the guilty party is is difficult.

Trump gave us the two weeks timeline...not me.
This is right up there with the Dems and the MSM parsing the words wiretap and survalence. Who gives a damn they are both spying.

No one who wants to get to the truth cares if it doesn't come out in the exact number of days.

Says the guy calling Russia allegations "fake news" from the beginning.

The article says it could be next week before investigators and attorneys have a solid handle on the contents of the information. I'm not looking for a Friday night dump unless it's on RyanCare.

Putting these two statements together....it sure sounds like you don't really have any interest in the truth....you've already determined there is a "guilty party".

I have yet to see any evidence Trump was colluding with the Russians all we've got is speculation and an investigation no one knows anything about.

If there is a Russian smoking gun revealed I'll admit I was wrong. Will we see the same if these survalence allegations are true?

the surveillance is not the problem as you guys probably know.

There it is......

No smoking gun on Russia = fake news.

No smoking gun on surveillance issues = not fake news, you just want to get the truth.

Different standards establishing your previously stated confirmation bias that Obama administration is guilty of something.

Not in the new narrative.

In the new narrative it is the unmasking of USpers incidentally recorded in valid and lawful foreign nationals intelligence gathering.

And I've already said I agree we don't have enough facts to establish that one way or the other yet.

that's right...and it's probably a lot of fluff anyway. These guys aren't going to turn each other in, just muddy the water a bit to put in a bit of doubt. We're all screwed.

Hmmmm, Podesta was specifically named. Has there been outrage from the lefties on Podesta's potential involvement with the "Russians?" How about that specifically named, Democratic hired, post Benghazi damage control firm Mercury LLC?

@davidallen? Hot take? Cold take? Google lefty groupthink take?

Smoking gun = wiretap. President Trump was proven correct.

Still waiting on Russian smoking gun. They can't get Manafort on Russian collusion so they'll try to get him on corrupt business practices. Not the mandate the special prosecutor was given but that's the way these things go. Investigate false allegations, indict on other crimes to save face.

Don't get me wrong if he's guilty he'll have to face the consequences but to me it just validates the fake Russia narrative.

I do have bias against Obama and his administration. The lying and out right corruption is obvious to anyone not blinded by partisanship.
