I've never said otherwise. They aren't definitive, and you have to know what's behind the numbers, but they do offer a snapshot of what the current state of play is.

They were the only well recognized poll that predicted a Trump victory. Rasmussen nailed the popular vote %’s.
Because I know that @my_2cents cares so much, this polling outfit was 1 of 4 polls I looked at as a group...and I knew the outcome in 2016 was going to be close. It's memorialized somewhere in this forum.
But interpreting polls correctly was only 1 source that fed my evaluation.
