Pilt let’s go to your wheelhouse

what percentage of stores today would survive if they didn’t meet ada standards? Wouldn’t you zealots be frothing at the mouth to cancel or ruin anyone that did this?
What a total non-answer. And that's okay. I get you. You think it's okay to legally discriminate against people.

I actually read your response and glanced at your avatar and thought it was david Allen, seriously.

I don’t think it’s ok, I just think it would be a good exercise to see what happened to people who discriminated for various reasons. There is no reason a black owned business should be forced to do business with whites. Or black conservatives for that matter. There would probably be zero consequences.

Not at all. But I am like most normal people and don’t agree with any discrimination including the discrimination from the far-left WOKE AF groups that define discrimination as not giving additional rights to people.
BTW, supporting trans people in sports to allow them to dominate against young girls is disgusting. But that is the WOKE AF group.
Wow... you are damned good at beating the hell out of straw men. Your post is even more of a non-answer than Harry.

Seriously, your posts on this subject almost is a parody.

I don’t think you are really that out of touch and don’t truly believe that some people should have more rights and protections than others, but you are just trying to troll.

So you don't believe in discrimination but are defending discrimination. Seems an odd way to make your point.

And show me where I've ever supported trans competing against women in sports? And how does that have anything at all to do with the legality of housing discrimination?

I am not defending discrimination. If you really believe this is some large issue with housing discrimation based on sexual identity then you are drinking the MSNBC kool-aid.

Again, I think you are a smart guy and normally level-headed. But this ain’t it.

Or.... counter argument. I actually know people who've been denied a rental based on them being a gay couple. So I know it happens.

Also... how large of an issue does something need to be before it should be illegal?

I think this subject hits close to home and the desire to defend it outruns the logic. I’ve posed the question twice with scenarios and opinions and just projection that im the one not engaging,

So the people you know that were denied rental based on being a gay couple. How do they know they were denied due to specifically being gay? Were they told that? Maybe it credit? Or it was work history? Or due to background check? Or appearance? Or attitude? Or someone beat them with an offer on the rental?

Did they have any trouble finding other accommodating rentals?

Without disclosing too much about them. They were qualified renters. The only thing that denied them was their orientation. And no, nobody today comes right out and says it. But when the person showing you the home starts saying how their religion denounces homosexuality and how its a sin you can easily connect the dots.

And yes, finding rental housing around here isn't easy. They actually decided to live in another town and commute.
